Gold Medal Waters is a fee-only wealth management firm.
Fee-only refers to the method used to pay for services provided. Unlike major brokerage houses and insurance firms that rely on commissions and "fee-based" structures to generate income, a fee-only firm receives its compensation directly from its clients. There are no commissions gained from any other sources. This eliminates conflict of interest and removes all pressure to purchase specific products.
The beauty of this system rests in the fact that the advice is objective, that the financial products are selected based solely on your needs, and there there are no hidden costs.
At the start, there is a written contract that defines services and costs over a specified period of time. This mutual understanding empowers both you and your advisor. It adds a spark to planning and ensures that recommendations are impartial and unbiased.
